I even asked my friend what she wanted, she said, we don’t need anything, but if you want to throw a few bucks in an envelope to help out with expenses that would be great. ….. so I like to please people and give them what they want, but ‘throw it in an envelope’ ?? not ME !!

(it’s a labour of love though, took me about 5 hours!)
Since EVERYONE likes money, here’s a super creative way to give them money that totally TOPS just putting $40 in an envelope!
This photo shows an artistic arrangement of the final product, obviously I couldn’t give it to them in this form and did wrap each individually – if you want to see close ups of each bit, from beginning to end and everything that went into the gift with the accompanying letter that explained each part of the gift, then just click here to see it on my personal web site.
My friend called me the NEXT morning (ie ON her honeymoon!) to tell me how COOL and UNIQUE it was and how they LOVED it and LAUGHED their butts off too!

OhMyGosh, it’s been *3* weeks since I posted a ‘daily photo’ to my flickr photos and done a blog entry – oops, miss one day, then another and time gets away with you!! My bad – didya even miss me ?? 😉
One of my GOOD friends got married last weekend (hopefully will post what I did for her ‘gift’ tomorrow – it was NEAT and ORIGINAL!) it was a small and simple wedding but lovely!

It had all the music they played during the entire reception/dances on it – He even SANG the first one to her during their first dance together as husband and wife – How Romantic is THAT!! He’s a singer (used to be a recording County singer as Michael Anthony James – now he’s the lead singer in a new band called “The Keep” which still has a country feel. I ate a lot of chocolates!!

This is me (in the middle, yes I *AM* tall!) with Brant Hansen and Donna Cruz,
They are two of the DJ’s at the South Florida WayFM Radio Station, who I consider to both be good personal friends of mine.
I have volunteered at the Annual Sharathon at the 88.1 WayFM every year since the first day they went on the air back in 1992 – this is my 15th year – Alice the Brit is well known there and having an British Accent (in USA) helps too, so they like to put me on the air!
I LOVE it, yes, it’s volunteer, I don’t get paid monetarily, but I get paid SO much in love, friendship, fellowship, joy, fun, sense of community – I wouldn’t miss it for anything.
Oh yeah and sorry for being such a bad blogger and not updating more often, I am still uploading the daily POTD on my flickr account and do often add tidbits of news of our daily life (to explain the daily photo) so check it out (top left hand corner – click on the POTD link)
