We’ve been together over 25 years now and I still am totally in love with him, his face, his smile, his eyes, his humour, his faith, .. well just about everything about him …. OK so let’s be realistic here, I could do with him snoring and farting less!

Melanie and her best friend Katelyn at the Bank Atlantic Panther’s Stadium in Ft Lauderdale for the Revolve Tour we all went to this weekend.
They both agreed that it is comforting to know and hear that there are many other teenagers out there feeling the same way they do, they are not alone or freaks or aliens (hence this pick since it looks like the aliens are landing!)
I encourage any of you Mums with teenage daughters to find our when and where the Revolve Tour is coming near to you and TAKE them to it – Music, Dramas, Speakers and Fun – it was an emotional rollercoaster – we laughed, we cried, we sang, we laughed, we cried, we praised, we screamed, we laughed and we cried!
I am SO glad I took her.

Sometimes you just have to play hookie from school and go fishing on a Daddy Date!
That is what memories are made of.
Nils and Kenzie left at 5:30am today to go Toadie fishing. Big Success!
This is her holding one of the 50 they caught today, it is the biggest one EVER caught (well by our family and Nils has been toadie fishing for 9 years!) It might possibly be the largest one on the planet (of this type, there are many different types of puffer fish – this one is the (southern puffer fish) and is NOT poisonous as you are all probably thinking right about now!
They taste GREAT!
